What we know!

There is much changing – and not changing – when it comes to the Hummer EV for 2025. While there are no significant mechanical changes planned, including the Ultium battery system, the options of 24 or 20 modules on the SUT and 20 modules on the SUV are offered. The interior color pallet will also remain the same. That means the Lunar Horizon (Jet black/light gray) combo and Lunar Shadow (Jet Black/Taupe) pairing will remain the two interior choices for 2025.

Colors that will wow the eye on the exterior include Interstellar White, Void Black, Meteorite Metallic, which is a gray, and Deep Aurora Metallic, a dark bronze.

Set to disappear after 2024 are Tide Metallic, an ice blue, Afterburner Tintcoat, an Orange, Neptune Blue Matte, Supernova Metallic, a dark blue, and Moonshot Green Matte.

In addition, what will no longer be available for the Hummer EV in 2025 when it comes to color include the matte blue offered in the Omega Edition, along with the included and package-exclusive Neptune Blue Matte exterior color. But, the Sky Panel Storage Set will return to availability for the model year.

New color options for the Hummer EV include Nagini Metallic, Habanero Orange and Graphite Blue Metallic.

All three new colors are listed as “Late Availability,” so it may be quite a ways into the 2025 model year before consumers see HUMMER EV variants in these colors show up at GMC dealerships.

What else remains unchanged are the key features like CrabWalk diagonal drive, adaptive air suspension, WTF mode, Sky View Panels and other features that many have grown to love on the Edition 1 Hummer EV SUV. No plans are in the works to change styling either.

GMC has started updating the order book for next year’s model year of the Hummer EV. While those updates may not yet be complete, and no official changes have been announced, we are starting to see what colors will be available for the new model year. Unfortunately, the matte green of the Edition 1 SUV above won’t make the cut, it seems.

Reintroduced as an all-electric version of the one-of-a-kind and iconic GMC Hummer, the GMC HUMMER EV is one giant step in General Motors’ push toward electrification within its performance and off-road segments. It debuted in late 2021 as the 2022 model year, and features a combination of robust electric propulsion with rugged, imposing design and off-road capabilities traditionally associated with the HUMMER brand.

That includes GM’s Ultium battery platform, with the HUMMER EV offering up to 1,000 horsepower and 380 miles of range. A “WTF / Watts To Freedom” mode enables the HUMMER EV to accelerate 0 to 60 mph in approximately 3 seconds.
