GMC releases more info on the 2024 GMC Acadia

Taking command!
The arrival is drawing near! In early 2024, drivers and passengers alike will realize all the benefits that the GMC Acadia, entering its third generation, has to offer! With a redesign both inside and out and equipped with all that is needed for the next big adventure, GMC gave this model all things bigger than ever before! Expanded maximum cargo, spacious three rows of seating and technology that keeps you connected at all times, see what’s in store in a few short months!
Here’s more…
A peek inside!
When it comes to the biggest boost within the all-new Acadia, the space has it! That begins with a center console that allows more space than ever before thanks to the replacement of shift buttons to a column-mounted shifter, allowing for ample space beneath the console.
Drivers enjoy a dashboard that features a new vertically oriented 15.0-inch touchscreen and a 11.0-inch digital gauge cluster, both presented as standard. A Google-based infotainment system boasts customizable screens and available apps.
A roomy interior is worth mentioning again, thanks to its size — 204 inches stem to stem. Passengers will enjoy ample leg room with the base level offering a second-row bench seat that can fit eight, with the higher trim levels, the AT4 and Denali, presented with captain’s chairs that cap seating to seven.
Occupants enjoy 80 percent more cargo space behind the third row and roughly 36 percent more with the rearmost seats stowed. It can seat seven or eight with a middle-row bench, depending on the trim level.

Tech/driver friendly!
A slew of driver-assistance technology is standard, and includes the ever-popular helping hand associated with adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and blind-sport monitoring. The vehicle also includes detection systems for bicyclists and pedestrians, automated emergency braking and up to nine exterior camera views. Higher trim levels offer SuperCruise, GM’s hands-free system. This feature can permit hands-free vehicle operation on more than 400,000 miles of compatible roadways in the U.S. and Canada.

Its power!
The all-new Acadia for 2024 gets its boost from a new turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder that is powerful and considerably more mighty than ever before! That engine makes 328 hp and 326 lb-ft. of torque. This is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, which replaces the old nine-speed unit, with the offer still on the table of front- or all-wheel drive.
In the area of towing, the Acadia can pull up to 5,000 pounds, which is between 1,000 and 1,700 pounds more than ever before. The higher level AT4 also boasts an exclusive all-wheel drive system with a twin-cloth rear axle.

Other facts we know!
While pricing has not yet been released, the best guess when it comes to this would be just under $40,000 for the base-level Elevation and about $50,000 for the top-of-the-line Denali.
The new Acadia is longer, wider and taller than the outgoing model, and represents the roomiest of all vehicles in its class.
The Acadia is presented in four trim levels, each of which have unique features and benefits all its own. There is the Elevation, the Elevation Premium, the AT4 and the top-of-the-rung Denali. The AT4 and Denali levels include among their highlights taller ride height, 18-inch all-terrain tires, unique suspension tuning with hydraulic rebound control as well as selectable drive modes and much more!
The Denali is presented with a power-folding second and third row, noise-cancelling technology and a Bose premium sound system with the option of up to 16 speakers. Inside, a panoramic pillar-to-pillar sunroof is found as is laser-etched wood decor with Galvano chrome accents. Supple leather is found within this trim as are exterior style touches like a unique grille and 22-inch wheels, the largest ever for an Acadia in its history!
Available early next year, the Acadia will be produced at GM’s Lansing Delta Township Assembly in Michigan. Pricing is not yet revealed, but the 2023 model sold for a starting price of $36,800.
From increased cargo space to Super Cruise Technology and a new turbo engine, the Acadia for 2024 is much anticipated! Longer, wider, and taller than before with new styling and tech throughout, this is about taking command to the next level! Reserve yours today!
