The Envista has a dash featuring a standard 11-inch diagonal touchscreen and eight-inch diagonal Driver Information Center.

The award also takes into consideration smartphone pairing and high-quality voice assistants that provide good information, something the Avenir surely delivers. Then there’s cargo space, with the Avenir highlighted by a roomy, comfortable cabin within, with unique features and nice materials, including heated leather seats. Ample room for passengers is a given, as is overall cargo functionality. Even the words “Avenir” are stitched into the headrests for a luxurious touch!

This vehicle is powered by a single choice, specifically the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine, which puts out 137 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque. This engine pairs quite nicely with a six-speed automatic transmission. The Envista also rides on the GM VSS-F vehicle set, with production at the GM Bupyeong Plant in South Korea.

The Envista Avenir joins other top models in earning this distinction, including: Chevrolet Blazer EV, Hyundai Kona, Hyundai Santa Fe, Kia EV9 Lincoln Nautilus, Mercedes-Benz GLC 300, Ram 1500 Tungsten, Toyota Grand Highlander Sport and Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport.

These nominated vehicles all were analyzed through evaluations that took place in winter and early spring of 2024, with judges actually experiencing the nominees during their daily commutes. Factors considered in making their determinations were vast and included such areas as design aesthetics, comfort, materials, fit and finish, connectivity and infotainment as well as displays and controls and advanced driver-assistance system content and value.

On the exterior, a Pebble Gray and black two-tone look is found, combined with Cinnabar Metallic exterior paint.

These chosen models all share the fact they are rooted in value! They will be honored during the Wards 10 Best Interior and UX award ceremony June 6 at AutoTech: Detroit, with the event held at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan.
