What’s new inside/out!
Redesigned for 2022, the GMC Sierra 1500 is considered today’s fanciest pick-up truck. Presented in trim levels including SLE, Elevation, SLT, AT4, AT4X, Denali and Denali Ultimate, each level brings about excitement!

Beginning with the SLE model, the all-new Sierra’s cabin experiences a significant makeover brought forth with a new 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 13.4-inch center touchscreen. In addition to this newly designed console, the Sierra’s interior boasts front bucket seats that feature a T-shaped electronic shifter, with a power-adjustable steering column standard on upper trims. Those higher trims also boast 16-way power front seats with massage feature (standard on the Denali Ultimate and AT4X) as well as overall richer materials throughout.

For the Elevation level, which is still considered entry-level, the Sierra features leather seats among its interior overhaul. Exterior changes include a fresh grille design and updated bumper as well as a pair of revised LED headlights and newly styled daytime running lights. The addition of an available Elevation Premium Package is especially key, as it adds the ability to equip this trim level with leather seats for the first time. This model will also come with a monochromatic exterior trim treatment complete with a gloss black grille and sharp 20-inch wheels.

Advanced tech!
Technology abounds within the all-new Sierra, with drivers experiencing true hands-free driver-assistance technology in the form of Super Cruise. This allows drivers to operate their vehicle hands-free for more than 200,000 miles. The vehicle also performs automatic hands-free lane changing, making each excursion rooted in comfort and ease. Hands-free towing is also presented here, giving drivers the ability to pull their trailer with added comfort and confidence. This system works by adjusting specific calibrations designed to account for the additional drag and increased braking distance.

With a gauge cluster that is highly configurable, updated infotainment in the Sierra now supports Google’s app store, maps and voice assistant. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard with the large touchscreen, with an extra large heads-up display also available. Technology advancements allow for live traffic updates, hands free help, your favorite apps and much, much more!

Power packed
The Sierra continues to be presented with a 355-hp 5.3-liter or a 420-hp 6.2 liter V-8. A turbocharged 2.7-liter inline-four and a Duramax diesel 3.0-liter inline-six are also available. The Turbo-four for 2022 has been updated to be more refined and make more torque —420 pound-feet versus 383 — and its eight-speed automatic has been recalibrate to be more responsive.

Upper trims
The new AT4X, considered the most off-road capable in the Sierra family, features advanced Multimatic spool-valve dampers, electronic locking front and rear differentials and extra underbody protection. It travels on black 18-inch wheels and features a Terrain Mode that allows for one-pedal driving in low-speed situations where momentum and wheel placement are vital. A set of rocker guards are also available. This trim also features a redesigned front fascia and grille with Dark Nickel finish and AT4X badging. Hidden dual-outlet exhaust rounds out the look, as well as a luxurious and athletic interior rooted in premium style.

For the new Denali Ultimate, luxury is real! This is, in fact, the most advanced luxurious pickup in its class! From a dark chrome exterior trim and 22-inch rims buoyed by adaptive dampers, this vehicle is the top both outside and in. An interior features countless leather-wrapped surfaces as well as open-pore wood. A headliner is presented in microsuede, with leather front seats featuring 16-way power adjustments and massage functions. This model comes standard with Super Cruise and GM’s hands-free driving tech. It also features Vader Chrome GMS badging as well as special fender badging.

The price tag
Expected to reach dealerships in the first quarter of next year, the entry-level Sierra Pro will start at $32,495 with the Denali Ultimate coming in at $80,395. The AT4 has a starting price of $60,995, with the AT4X at $74,995.
