Raising the bar!

What is the ultimate when it comes to off-roading, even above and beyond the beloved GMC Yukon AT4? Taking it a big notch above is the new Yukon AT4 Ultimate trim, presented in the 2025 model year and all things refreshed. Incorporating a variety of standard features normally offered as optional on the non-Ultimate AT4, as well as a few unique features all its own, see what this trim has in store! From power to key features like the GM Super Cruise hands-free driving, this AT4 Ultimate just can’t be beat! See what’s happening with this luxurious option!

What is the Ultimate?

Essentially, the Ultimate capitalizes on the AT4 features and equipment, but also includes several items that are optional on the standard AT4.

Perhaps most exciting with this Yukon AT4 Ultimate and its release, which celebrates the fifth anniversary of GMC’s AT4 sub-brand, is that it is equipped as standard with the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, which gives 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. By comparison, the non-Ultimate AT4 is presented with the L87 gasoline engine as an optional upgrade. This is truly a welcome power increase over the Yukon’s 5.3 liter V8 that comes standard on the 2024 Elevation and AT4.

Also, buyers have the ability to option the AT4 Ultimate with the 3.0-liter Duramax turbodiesel, which will become available in late spring, 2025. That makes 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft of torque. It is bolted to a 10-speed automatic transmission, just like the gassers.

Drivers will enjoy the ultimate in carefree driving, with the GM Super Cruise, presented in the new AT4 Ultimate as a standard feature. This enables drivers to remove their hands from the steering wheel for an extended period of time on the highway.

Other key standard features on this trim level include Driver Attention Assist, the Rear Camera Mirror System, the Rear Seat Media system and a 15-inch multi-color head-up display, all of which are otherwise optional for the non-Ultimate AT4.

Comfort is also a huge consideration when equipping the Ultimate AT4, with such features as massaging front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and Obsidian Rush and Red accents, as well as full grain leather upholstery, all of which are standard. The new unique leather seat style boasts an open pore wood decor and a steering wheel with leather rim accidents. There is also a unique grille finish, dual exhausts, special badging and much more!

This new trim level is also infused with the four-corner air-ride adaptive suspension, a system which can raise the vehicle up to 2 inches to improve off-road ground clearance. Drivers and passengers alike also enjoy the dual-pane panoramic sunroof, SuperCruise hands-free driver assistance technology, and an 18-speaker Bose sound system.

The AT4 Ultimate embodies luxury items within its off-road equipment including a front skid plate and 20-inch wheels with all-terrain tires. Maximum towing is 8,400 pounds.

There are also changes unique to the 2025 Yukon, including new headlights, new fascia designs and new grille patterns.

Assembled in GM’s Arlington, Texas plant, the AT4 Ultimate truly represents greatness and a step above what customers already expect from GMC’s flagship. Fusing ruggedness and capability with craftsmanship and refinement, this full-size SUV in the form of the AT4 Ultimate, available at the end of 2024 with pricing not yet revealed, has it all!

Larger infotainment screen, new electronic driver-assist features, a revised look, new tech, more power and an available diesel engine – who can ask for more? Building on the off-road focused AT4 but adding luxury items, the AT4 Ultimate may be your next best choice. See what’s in store when the bar is raised, and reserve yours today!
