All-out exterior style!

For 2024, the updated styling of the Sierra 2500HD is wonderfully unique — and tough at the same time! The majority of the exterior overhaul centers on the grille, front bumper and fascia area, with each trim level boasting its very own front-end treatment. The upper Denali and Denali Ultimate trims are treated to a unique crossbar element through the functional hood scoop on Duramax diesel models.

There are also improved tail lamps in this new model which adorn the rear, while new lighting is also presented. New wheel options are to be had with the SLE, AT4 and Denali models, and those include optional 22-inch rolling stock.

Sharp new exterior colors are also brought forth in 2024, including Titanium Rush Metallic, Sterling Metallic, Volcanic Red Tintcoat, Redwood Metallic, Meteorite Metallic and Downpour Metallic.

Comfort within!

An abundance of soft-touch surfaces are found throughout this tough and bold pick-up, as well as a plethora of user-friendly features — all resulting in a very modern interior. There is a huge dashboard which is home to a number of easily accessed switchgear. On most models, a split-folding front bench can be replaced with a pair of bucket seats and a full center console, all with comfort and convenience in mind.

The centerpiece in terms of updated cabin design includes a new 13.4-inch diagonal infotainment screen, representing the largest in the class. It runs Google Built-In, as well as offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Also available are a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a large 15-inch full-color head-up display.

The inside of this all-new model can be optioned with a head-up display, cozy heated steering wheel, heated and cooled front seats and wireless charging.

In the upper Denali trim, leather-wrapped interior pieces can be had, with an overall upscale look realized.

For 2024, GMC has added adaptive cruise control, which also works wonderfully with trailer in tow.

Spaciousness is also found here, with extensive passenger space in the crew cab as well as a great deal of handy interior cubby storage. Also speaking to convenience and comfort, the standard and long cargo boxes have built-in steps on both sides of the bed and the rear bumper has them at each corner.

The truck’s tailgate is also surely worth noting — and celebrating, as it is innovative and multi-functioning, presented with six different positions that include a work surface and bench

Power personified!

The all-new Sierra comes standard with a gas-powered 6.6-liter V-8 that generates 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque. This engine pairs with a 10-speed automatic transmission and rear- or four-wheel-drive.

There is also as optional Duramax diesel 6.6 liter V-8, which puts out 470 ponies and 975 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic. Drivers have the option of specifying either a single- or dual-rear-wheel axle for the 3500 HD models.

The engine in this vehicle is refined, and the drive is one rooted in agility.

An overall increase in power is found here, as well as better acceleration when pulling those heavy loads!

Towing the max!

When it comes to towing capacity, this all-new Sierra has it covered! Only offered with a single-rear-wheel axle, the 2500HD has a towing capacity of an impressive 22,500 pounds. The stronger Sierra 3500HD can pull as much as 36,000 pounds, although that massive capacity required a diesel engine, regular cab, rear-wheel drive, the dual-rear-wheel axle and a gooseneck hitch.

For 2024, the Sierra HD’s suite of advanced technology also encompasses towing, all thanks to GMC’s available Program Trailering System. Anchoring this system is an impressive and massive 14 different camera views, which include hitch guidance and Hitch View, bed view with zoom, bed hitch guidance for fish-wheel and gooseneck trailers and rear side view with trailer length indicator. Also new for 2024 is GCW Alert, which utilizes acceleration data to warn the driver if the truck and trailer exceed the vehicle’s gross combined weight rating or GCWR.

And also, an enhanced version of GMC’s Transparent Trailer camera function is available for 2024 and is now compatible with gooseneck and fifth-wheel trailers.

The “ultimate” in trim!

When it comes to the ultimate trim level, introducing the Denali Ultimate, the most premium, luxurious and technologically advanced Sierra HD out there! Fitted with a unique grille and exterior badging, this truck comes in a sharp and dark Vader chrome, with a MultiPro tailgate at back and a Kicker audio system as standard. Also standard are the convenient power side steps. A luxurious interior is found within, including full-grain leather appointments to both the seats and door panels, center console lid and grab handles. Genuine wood trim rounds out the luxury, as do real aluminum accents. There is also new 16-way power-adjustable and massaging front seats, premium microsuede headliner, a 12-speaker Bose audio system and standard power sunroof.

This trim is impressive to say the least!

Safety first!

A full suite of safety features is on tap for 2024, including forward collision warning, lane departure warning, auto emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, Intellibeam automatic high beams and a following distance indicator. Presented as optional through the Pro Safety Plus package is rear cross-traffic braking and trailer side blind zone alert.
