True value!

For the Buick Envista heading into 2024 with a new nameplate and a price tag starting at under $24,000, value is at its core. That is because this premium coupe-style crossover boasts a very approachable price tag! Despite what is considered somewhat of a compromised cargo area, this smaller SUV features the riding dynamics of a sedan and is the first vehicle to fully adopt Buick’s new design language. See how this vehicle, which rounds out Buick’s North American portfolio and is presented with varied trim levels, stands apart!

Here’s more…..

Overall style!

The Envista for 2024 represents the first vehicle to fully incorporate Buick’s new, modern design language, first unveiled to the world last year on the Wildcat EV concept. This modern design is brought forth through a low-profile silhouette and forward-leaning nose. A new Buick emblem is found prominently mounted on the body this model year, directly above a polished and intricate grille design, which is a nod to Buick’s heritage vehicles of the past.

The Envista is featured with a body style that encompasses sculptural beauty, complete with powerful fender forms and a sculpted waistline. Add to that bright trim which is intentionally incorporated seamlessly around the glass, and this vehicle catches light at all sorts of different angles.

Headlamps and taillamps are thin, with LED checkmark lamps mounted high on the fascia. A sporty look is made clear with all-black 18-inch wheels, standard on the ST trim, with 19-inch wheels also available. The high-level Avenir trim boasts Bespoke Pearl Nickel 19-inch wheels as standard.

A peak inside!

Although space isn’t unlimited in what is considered a small footprint, the interior of the Envista offers a surprising amount of space for all, and attention to detail is very apparent. That is realized through crafted and colorful stitching on the seats, or, with higher trim levels, Avenir and ST logos embroidered on the head restraints. Up front, passenger and driver alike enjoy the vehicle’s two digital displays, housed neatly under one continuous piece of glass. An 8-inch digital instrument panel combines with the class-leading 11-inch infotainment display, resulting in the vehicle’s more modern appearance.

Cabin materials are similar to the Encore GX, with a flat-bottomed steering wheel standard and with a premium feel encompassing other materials within. And, because of the lower asking price, there is plastic found in the cabin, but overall interior noise levels are low, all thanks to standard Active Noise Cancellation.

Passengers in the rear enjoy a good amount of leg room, with the rear seats featuring a 60/40-split folding option that increases the cargo capacity from 20.7 cubic feet with seats up to 42 cubic feet with them dropped. This spaciousness is all thanks to the long wheelbase and efficient layout brought forth in the new Envista, which offers the spaciousness and ample leg room linked to much larger vehicles. Moreover, it has more legroom than a prior Buick small SUV!

Its power!

The Envista is presented with a high-performance 1.2L turbo engine that is coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission. This translates into 136 horsepower with 162 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to the engine’s turbocharger, it is able to reach peak torque much quicker and maintain that for a longer RPM band. This results in great responsiveness and an overall fun driving experience.

Lead Equipment engineer for the Envista, Scott McLane, explained that this engine, compared to past generations, is lighter and utilizes fewer parts, thus reducing the overall vehicle weight. That means for the driver increased efficiency and superb handling.

Standard on the Avenir trim is a Watts Link suspension, which allows for sure-footedness for the driver as well as a more quiet and isolated ride experience.

Also, it is important to note that the Envista is expected to offer a GM-Estimated 30 mpg combined.

Rooted in confidence!

Coming standard in the 2024 Envista is the Buick Confidence package. Like the name makes clear, it comes chock full of features that will help instill confidence during each and every excursion. This package includes six active safety and driver assistance technologies such as Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, IntelliBeam

auto high-beams and more. A high-definition Rear Vision Camera is also standard.

The Envista will also offer available safety and driver assistance technologies such as Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

Tech appeal!

The Buick Envista is brought forth in 2024 with the latest tech features, all of which are found behind the double-wide glass panel where the Buick infotainment operating system is located. Lines are crisp in terms of graphics and a straightforward, easy-to-navigate menu is found within. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are supported, with the Envista also coming standard with driver safety tech such as automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning and automatic high beams. Other driver-assist features available are adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic warning and blind-spot warning.

Trim levels!

The Envista will be presented with three distinct trim levels, each of which carries its own unique personality. There is the Preferred, the Sport Touring (ST) and the Avenir. In terms of cost, the Envista Preferred trim starts at just $23,495, with Sport Touring starting at $25,195 and Avenir starting at $29,695.

When it comes to true value, the Envista, expected to enter production next month and be available for customers this summer, has it covered!
