Here’s more!

Exterior boost!

The exterior of the all-new Encore is a design rooted in style and substance. From confident lines and a distinctive look and feel, the GX is truly the new face of Buick and here’s why! Among the many amazing exterior highlights is the North American debut of the new Buick tri-shield, which is a new badge marking the beginning of what is bound to be even more exciting changes in the future! More upscale than ever before, changes include slim LED accents which are remounted above discreetly integrated headlights, with a new trapezoidal grille sitting much lower than its predecessor. In the GX ST, there are glossy black wheels and black lower molding, with the upscale Avenir trim featuring bright rims and molding that match its body color. The ST is also sleek and distinct thanks to an optional Black Roof package.

Changes in the rear for 2024 are less obvious, but also speak to the upscale styling in this new model year.

A look inside!

Within a cabin that is rooted in comfort and provides generous space, a redesigned dashboard is among the biggest changes inside the Encore for 2024. This dashboard features an enormous sheet of glass mounted at top, with this single panel containing two large displays. A total of 8.0 inches is devoted to the gauge cluster, with 11.0 inches reserved for the touchscreen infotainment system. That system features the ever-popular Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which comes standard, as well as boasts wireless charging with a larger pad than has ever been offered before.

Other interior boosts include a flat-bottomed steering wheel and “ST” stitched in the headrests with the Sport Touring trim as well as Avenir exclusives like a black-and-beige interior color scheme and leather seats, complete with its name embroidered in the headrests. Drivers also enjoy the luxury of a heated steering wheel and power-adjustable front seats.

Premium seating for five, in addition to conveniences like the easily folded 60/40 split rear seats and available flat-folding front-passenger seats, are also found here.

Power play!

For 2024, Buick continues to present for the Encore GX two turbocharged three-cylinders and either front- or all-wheel drive. Despite both engines featuring a turbo from a different supplier, Buick promises a quieter drive, with the base 1.2-liter making 137 horsepower and the 1.3-liter upgrade pumping out 155.

Noise is also reduced by way of optimized engine mounts which result in a reduction of noise, vibration and harshness, also referred to as NVH levels.

Safety first!

Peace of mind is a given in the all-new Encore, with Buick Driver Confidence coming standard and including a plethora of safety features. Those are: Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Following Distance Indicator and IntelliBeam Auto High Beams.

For an even greater safety boost, the Avenir is presented with three years of the OnStar Safety and Security Plan which includes OnStar Automatic Crash Response, Roadside Assistance and the On-Star Guardian app.

Trim levels up close!

Avenir — Exclusive interior and exterior features mark this trim, including a class-leading 11-inch diagonal Infotainment Screen, an 8-inch diagonal Driver Information Center, heated front seats, heated steering wheel and remote start. Drivers and passenger alike will also enjoy 8-way power adjustable, leather-trimmed front seats, plus 2-way power lumbar. An Avenir logo embroidered on the front head restraints; fold-flat front passenger seat and dual-zone automatic climate control are also presented.

Sport Touring — Interior and exterior accents are updated, and this trim boasts a class-leading 11-inch Diagonal Infotainment Screen, an 8-inch Diagonal Driver Information Center and a new flat-bottom steering wheel. An ST logo is embroidered on the front head restraints and a new ST grille and front fascia are found here, as are bright chrome accents on the front bumper. Gloss-black rear bumper accents and new and exclusive 18-inch high-gloss black painted wheels and LED tail lamps round out the offerings.

Preferred — This trim level mirrors the ST in many ways, including the updated interior and exterior accents, class-leading 11-inch Diagonal Infotainment Screen, 8-inch Diagonal Driver Information Center; and premium cloth seats with leatherette.
