Oh so grand!

When it comes to the Enclave for 2025, Buick is speaking in grand proportions in this mid-size three-row SUV! Not only is the vehicle bigger and mightier in this upcoming model year, but it boasts touches of luxury, in specific the addition of the ever-popular Super Cruise hands-free system. Thanks to a redesign – inspired by the Wildcat concept – this vehicle, which is the largest in Buick’s four-SUV lineup, truly has it all! See what’s in store!

Here’s more…

What we know!

The first Buick to offer GM’s Super Cruise hands-free driving system, the 2025 Enclave right out of the gate is something special! It represents a true transformation when it comes to this new era of design, with this sharply styled coupe inspiring the look of the all-SUV lineup.

The corporate cousin to the Chevy Traverse and GMC Acadia, the Revitalized Enclave shares a platform and mechanical bits but has its very own unique appearance and audience.

Entering the 2025 model year, the vehicle is presented with trim levels which include the Preferred, Sport Touring (ST) and Avenir, all of which are larger, wider and taller than their predecessors, but ride on the same 120.9-inch wheelbase. With each trim comes a unique grille and wheel option, with the wheel’s default size increasing from 18 to 20 inches on the Preferred and ST and from 20 to 22 inches on the Avenir.

A square silhouette is found with the Enclave as well an auto-sensing liftgate which is presented as standard. On the leading edge of the hood on the Enclave, Buick’s new tri-shield logo appears, which is a change from it being located in the grille. Full-width taillights are also part of this new model, with the Avenir boasting exterior lights which play a welcome animation resulting in a cool theatrical effect.

With the Enclave ST, sportiness is evident, made clear with black body molding and other matching elements that oppose the Avenior’s shiny exterior trim and wheels.

In the area of power, with every model comes a turbocharged 2.5 liter four-cylinder which makes 328 horsepower and 326 lb-ft of torque. This replaces the old 310-hp 3.6-liter V-6, with the previous nine-speed automatic transmission traded for an eight-speed unit. Maximum tow remains at 5,000 pounds with the trailering package.

Front- or all-wheel drive is available on every trim with only the Avenir featuring adaptive dampers.

Enclave up close!

All-out class and luxury is now synonymous with the Enclave, which features a change in materials, design and technology – all representing a giant step forward! Simple and uncomplicated lines and a new face make this model more in line with the Buick Envista and Encore GX, two small crossovers noted for their affordability, as well as the refreshed midsize 2024 Buick Envision.

Within the new Enclave, adjustable ambient lighting is now standard, with the Avenir’s attractive interior color options especially appealing. They include a lovely blue option on the upper parts of the doors and dash as well as the three-spoke steering wheel.

Highlighting the cabin is the new curved 30-inch screen on the dashboard that combines the customizable gauge cluster and infotainment system. That system uses Google built-in that provides access to maps, a voice assistant and an app store thanks to Amazon Alexa. Also standard are wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.  All trim levels also feature as standard wireless charging within a nicely angled phone tray in the center console, which also houses side-by-side cup holders. This center console is also much more roomy than before, featuring brushed aluminum on the instrument panel and canary gold trim for that extra-special look. Choose from 126 ambient-lighting colors to illuminate the cabin.

Headroom and legroom are all out excellent, with a pair of captain’s chairs in the second row and a wide walk-through between them to reach the third row. The seats also have the ability to tip and slide forward with the touch of a button. Both the second- and third-row seats fold flat and a power-folding third row is standard. A panoramic sunroof is also standard on the Avenior but also available on the other trims.

Occupants will enjoy the sound from the 12-speaker Bose stereo as a standard feature on the Preferred and ST trims. The Avenir features a 16-speaker system, with the top trim also boasting the best front seats, each with heated, ventilated and massaging cushions, a panoramic sunroof and heated second-row seats. Also within the Avenir is a head-up display and power-folding second- and third-row seats, all of which are also available on the lower two trims – but with the Power package.

Drivers also benefit from what is a true “family vehicle,” offering a complete suite of driver-assistance functions on each and every Enclave heading into 2025 as standard. Key features new to the roster include automated emergency braking at intersections, steering intervention that helps with blind spots, traffic-sign recognition and lane-keeping assist. There are also seven exterior camera views, with that number jumping to eight to the towing package and nine with the optional hands-free Super Cruise, which is making its debut on the Enclave and readily available on all three trim levels.

While pricing is not yet released, the cost is expected to raise by about $3,000, making the Preferred possibly start around $49,000; the ST at about $56,000 and the Avenir near the $62,000 mark.

The lineup, poised to go on sale later this summer after being built at the Lansing Delta Township Plant in Michigan, represents the third generation of the model, but with a fresh new look and powertrain. This vehicle is oh so grand! Reserve yours today!
